"Beer was sold by large horses, bikinis, pool parties, dogs, talking frogs and catch phrases."
The Brewers Association says there are now 2,126 breweries in the U.S., up 350 from a year ago. They also say there are 1,252 breweries in planning (although the methodology about that number is missing). article
Indiana has 48 licensed breweries operating now. That's six more than six months ago. The high point was 86 Indiana breweries in 1875.
